Shangri-La Style Spectrum was an event to showcase some of the Shangri-La Plaza’s new collections for selected brands. Kudos to the event organizer for creating such an amazing runway stage on top of an incredible show. I got to witness new collections from seven different brands which are G200, Topman, Topshop, Gap, Marks & Spencer, Miss Selfridge, and Debenhams. I gotta say, for someone who is not a fan of Spring/Summer outfits, trends for this season are quite amazing. It’s not your typical print on print, color blocking, print over solid layering, and etc., but more on a different perspective for these styles.
The first show I attended was the group of G200, Topman, Topshop, and Miss Selfridge.
The second show I attended was the group of GAP, Debenhams, and Marks & Spencer.
I definitely saw new style trends for Spring/Summer 2016. This year, people will probably consider wearing lots of pastels. Honestly, as someone whose personal style is highly monochrome, seeing these new trends definitely made me want to try a number of new trends, just until the season ends. I would also want to see myself in floral prints, for the sake of trying new things out after being Ms. Black and White for such a long time now.
I encourage everyone to go and check out the new collection from the brands that I mentioned above. I think it would be worth going to the mall for. Trust me!
